The Region
IV meeting began at 5:35 p.m.
Roll call
and reading of the minutes were skipped at this meeting.
Discussing
began on how to vote in a new college for the secretary and treasurer college
for the
2000-2001 term.
Michael and
Nick Blaylock moved to except nomination on the floor.
Nick
Blaylock nominated TSTC for secretary and treasurer position and they became the
new secretary/treasurer school on the region level.
The
constitutional amendment was discussed within our region about upping yearly
dues to $150- $175. Discussion followed about cutting the budget to give more
room for the bulletin or even putting the information online.
Kenneth
discussed the main amendment and felt that many more college would reconsider if
the amendment were presented as a $ 10 additional fee one year and the next year
a $15 additional fee. Then, it was discussed to still keep both the bulletin and
uniformity book online for everyone to have access to.
Followed was
discussion on letting the bulletin school make a discussion on what would be
more economical.
The Bulletin
school -Odessa stepped down from being the bulletin school.

Officer
colleges for Region IV for the 2000-2001 are as follow: President-Marie from
Austin Community College, Vice-President--Dennis from Blinn-Bryan, Treasurer and
Secretary position goes to TSTC and Parliamentarian--Eric from Blinn-Brenham.
These new
officers were put in their position and continue with the meeting.
Austin
Community College discussed about having the region meeting the last weekend in
October (Tentative).
Kenneth
adjourned the Region IV meeting.
