The Region
IV student government meeting began at 5:05 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Corpus in
the Long boat room.
Members
present were Austin Community College, 4 delegates and no advisors, Blinn
College-Bryan, 5 delegates and 1 advisors, Blinn College-Brenham, 11 delegates
and 1 advisor, McClennan Community College, 10 delegates and 1 advisors, TSTC-Waco,
9 delegates and 1 advisors, WCJC-Main Campus 10 delegates and no advisor, Hill
Community College, 3 delegates and no advisor, and WCJC-Sugar Land 2 delegates
and no advisor. The total attendance was 54 delegates and 4 advisors.
Nick
Blaylock moved to dismiss the minutes.
Austin
Community College collected Region IV shirts dues of $5.00 a shirt.
The dinner
scheduled for Friday night was discussed to go in order of regions.
Cristine
Bohacek from the Bylaw Committee gave a report on the amendments that were
submitted.
The Region
IV representatives at the state level were discussed and were ready to represent
our region at state level elections.
An
announcement by one of the advisors about using common sense judgments was
discussed relating to an accident that happen on the beach.
