Treasurer

My name is Evelyn Nichole Rogers and I am a student at Alvin Community College, where I'm currently working on my associate of arts degree.

I was born in Texas City and now live in Alvin. I'm from a very big and extremely close family, which includes my four-year-old son, Nicholas. He has had a huge impact on my life and has motivated me to become successful.

In addition to being a full-time student, I am also employed as a student worker in the ACC marketing department. I'm passionate about community service and volunteer on-campus and in my community to help raise funds and awareness for various causes including the ACC Church of Christ Student Fellowship, the Brazoria County Women's Center, Meals on Wheels and Blue Santa. I'm also an active member of the ACC Anime Club as well as Student Government.

I strive to have a positive attitude and a determination to resolve anything in life. While serving as the TJCSGA state treasurer, I hope to grow and learn amazing things. The chance to represent Alvin Community College at state level is a great honor.

Students have a voice and TJCSGA gives us the opportunity to make a difference. Thank you for the opportunity to represent TJCSGA as State Executive Board Treasurer.

Duties: The duties of the Treasurer include preparing and maintaining the budget for the organization and providing payment for all debts incurred during the year. At the convention, the state treasurer will preside over the Nominations Committee.
